just did a bunch of baking. i made the chocolate chip coconut almond scones i posted earlier and some good ol’ zuccarinis. but i’m mad because i forgot to put salt in the zuccarinis. they taste okay but would be better with salt. hmph.
all the baking is for tomorrow — we’re having a sisters’ day out with the youth group girls. plans are to go to brooklyn and paint our own pottery and then have a tea party at minnie’s apartment. so excited! on the menu for sure is baked brie. nom nom nom.
after all that, i’m headed to k-town to have dinner with friends. one of our friends is visiting from chicago and we get to meet his girlfriend! tehehe.
after my trip to SF, i have an interview for school, so please keep me in your prayers.
now waiting for all my laundry to finish so i can sleeeepzzzz.
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”—F. Scott Fitzgerald
